These Terms of Service ("Terms") structure the relationship between you ("User") and Calozen regarding your use of the Calozen mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Calozen is a nutritional estimation and tracking tool powered by artificial intelligence. It is NOT a medical device. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The nutritional information (calories, macros, health scores) provided by the AI is an estimation based on visual analysis and should not be relied upon for managing medical conditions, allergies, or strict dietary restrictions. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or registered dietitian with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or diet.
1. AI Accuracy and Limitations
The core functionality of Calozen utilizes advanced computer vision and generative AI to estimate the contents and nutritional value of food. While we constantly improve our models, AI is not flawless. You acknowledge that:
- Volume and weight estimations may vary based on camera angle, lighting, and hidden ingredients.
- The Service cannot guarantee the detection of hidden allergens (e.g., peanut oil, dairy traces).
- You assume full responsibility for your dietary choices based on the estimations provided.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify Calozen of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Subscriptions and Payments (App Store & Google Play)
Calozen may offer premium features via auto-renewing subscriptions ("Premium").
- Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store or Google Play Account Settings after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.
4. User Generated Content
When you upload images of food ("Content") to Calozen, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store that Content to provide the Service. You agree not to upload images that are illegal, explicit, or infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
5. End User License Agreement (EULA)
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Calozen grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use a copy of the App on a single mobile device that you own or control. This license does not allow you to distribute the App or reverse-engineer the AI models.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
